The Greenhouse is conveniently situated and easily found on the Greencroft Industrial Park on the A693 close to Stanley, Co. Durham. This award winning eco business centre is located only 12 miles from Newcastle and 8 miles from Durham and the A1. The A68 with its access to Hexham and the Tyne Valley is only 5 miles away.
The Greenhouse, which sits in 2 acres of landscaped grounds, offers 20 prestigious managed office units for small and medium sized businesses at reasonable rates.
Renewable energy measures have been integrated into the landscape. Green energy for the building is sourced through a combination of underground pumps which collect the earth's latent heat and a wind turbine which towers 40 metres into the skyline, which is set to become a land mark leading visitors to us.
The landscaped grounds, the lake and the woodland backdrop provide a peaceful setting and a welcoming vista and environment for you and your customers.
Offices range from 40 to 100 square metres in area and each airy, naturally ventilated office comes with under floor heating, connection to a state of the art IT/ telephone system plus an independently zoned alarm system.
The Greenhouse is completely smoke free and houses a delightful cafe, serving tasty healthy options, produced using locally sourced ingredients where ever possible.
Buffets and working lunches are available in offices or in meeting and conference rooms, which are available for hire by tenants and outside parties. Each of the meeting rooms hold approximately 20 people and the conference room can hold up to 100 people, or can be broken down into 2 smaller spaces.
